Elise Olga Women's Training & Empowerment Program

The Elise Olga Women's Training & Empowerment Program is named in honour of Elise Olga — mother, mentor, and a woman who gave generously of herself to every woman whose life she touched. Elise Olga was a pillar of strength, courage, and quiet generosity.

She believed instinctively in women — in their resilience, their potential, and their right to be supported without condition. Long before it had a name, she was already living the mission of Wings of Strength: showing up, lifting up, and never leaving a woman to rebuild alone.

This program carries her name because it carries her spirit. Every woman who walks through it is walking in the light of someone who believed that no woman should ever have to stand alone.

The heartbeat of our community

Strength Circles

Strength Circles are the heartbeat of the Wings of Strength community. Each Circle brings together 10 to 20 women in a structured, supportive group experience — a space where women can speak honestly, be heard fully, and grow together.

Circles meet bi-weekly for 90-minute virtual sessions, making them accessible to women across Ontario regardless of location or transportation barriers. Each session weaves together peer sharing, skill-building, and reflective practice — facilitated by Bayode Simpson or a trained Wings of Strength facilitator.

This is not a drop-in group. Strength Circles are intentional, consistent, and community-driven. Women show up for themselves and for each other — and that accountability is part of what makes them work.
